Mising

As Assam assembly election is drawing near, I thought, I would share few political discussions I had recently in Mising areas.

One important observation by almost all Mising people I met, was While Bodos have almost 15 assembly seats in Assam, Misings can win paltry 4 seats. They are

1. Jonai
2. Dhemaji
3. Dhakuakhana
4. Majuli

Incidentally, all are reserved seats as well as comes under Lakhim...

It is well known that, News Live is owned by Himanta Biswa Sharma, a powerful Congress Minister in present Congress Government in Assam. Mr. Bhuban Pegu has recently teamed up with KMSS leader Mr. Akhil Gogoi and they have been attacking him together....
