The people who are protesting against sixth schedule to Misings seems to have forgotten that, Mising tribes live in poverty, annual flood, death due to lack of medical facilities as well as they live in most backward areas in Assam. Misings live in those areas where civilisation as well as basic amenities have not reached after six decades of independence! And now when Misings want some progress and development in their areas, some people are conspiring to keep us in same deplorable conditions for next few generations!
We Misings, son of Abo Tani, must not come under their pressure and must fight to get sixth schedule at any cost. Else the coming generation will not forgive us for our weakness. We were the only people who could take on Burmese Army head on and repulsed their attacks from our areas, the time has come again to fight war against people who are trying to prevent us from getting our constitutional rights.
It is high time, Misings are united and fight for their rights together.
