DPYK conducts Art & Culture competition
PASIGHAT, Oct 2: The Donyi Polo Yelam Kebang (DPYK) Mebo Block for the first time organized an Art and Culture competition recently at the Mebo Musup.
The main attractions of the competition were Archery, Folk Dance, Modern Dance and craft competition cum exhibition etc.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, NCP Blok President Todol Pertin stated that such activities inspire the youths to protect ones own identity and culture beside exposing hiddent talents and fostering unity and brotherhood.
He advised all to respect other’s religions and culture equally to build a strong society as well as a nation.
He distributed away prizes to the winners.
