Well said lina. This group was created quite a few months ago I guess but I was just wondering how did this escape my eyes. nevertheless I am here now. I don't neccessarily believe in all this visions 2020 and stuff as to development does not only mean good infrastructure, roads and educational development and stuff, for me it also means how much freedom and consciousness thus a ordinary mising person enjoys. How much knowledge has he about the politics, elections etc so that he can make a rational choice. Development- I don't measure it in quantity but in quality. A vision of course can be a guiding framework but not anything that is kinda binding or stuff. We definitely need to set some goals and I would be more than happy even if I can achieve one of those goals.
I like this idea of development but what kind of development ...is the first question. Unless we know what we want: there can be no development and to this effect it is important that such thinking should be backed by sustainable and more practically-applicable ideas.... the ideology , to sum up,must not be just sounding good but should actually work. I believe to have ideas and make it work is more important than just drawing out a possibility and seeing a future which can be just utopic In saying this i just meant to shed some light on the aspects of developing ourselves given the fact that we often give into the manipulated speeches of politicians. Development in a way is about developing ourselves our insights and our understanding of ourselves refining our perspectives not just about changing the outside as the saying goes...."charity begins at home" we can only develop our society when we have developed ourselves.... quite practically to say that.....a hungry man cannot feed a beggar he needs to lookout for himself and can feed others only when he is well fed!! So my point is that; to contribute to the development of a society at large it simply begins with our own self and our honesty and dignity in whatever we do!!
