MISING RELIGION

As some of you know that i am doing a research on mising religion i would like to use this forum to collect data. some of the questions are: what do think about conversion? what according to you are the reasons for conversion? what do u think about the revival movements? do you think religion binds the mising community together? if yes/no how?

Reasons for conversion : Poverty. But, I think Religion does not bind Mising community.It is said that, culture and history of a community can be guessed by words they use. We Misings have many words about sense of community * rvgbo, kebang etc. ), but not many words those mean or related to Religion. I feel the concept of Religion itself were alien to us till we came in contact with Indians. Just thinking.
